The Lampung Regional Police Brimob Unit once again showed its teeth in the prestigious 7th Kapolri Cup Championship of 2026, which took place from July 9 to 12, 2026. In this competition, which brought together talented athletes from across the police force, Lampung Brimob personnel managed to dominate and bring home a series of medals in the martial art of taekwondo.
Several personnel who recorded their names as first-place winners included Police Brigadier Jaja Perwiro from the Pioneer Battalion A in the Men's Senior Kyorugi U-74 Plot A category, Second Police Brigadier Muhammad Arsyad Dandi Putra from the Pioneer Battalion A for the Men's Senior Kyorugi U-68 category, and Second Police Brigadier Genlin Nurhuda Lingga from the Gegana Detachment in the Men's Senior Kyorugi U-74 Plot B category. In addition, Second Police Brigadier Anang Maulana from the Pioneer Battalion C successfully contributed a silver medal after winning second place in the Men's Senior Kyorugi U-63 Plot C category.
The Commander of the Lampung Regional Police Brimob Unit, Yustanto Mujiharso, expressed his deep appreciation for his subordinates' achievements. According to him, this accomplishment serves as concrete proof that Brimob members are not only capable in carrying out operational tasks in the field, but also possess physical and mental excellence honed through the world of sports.
Furthermore, Yustanto emphasized that the 2026 Kapolri Cup is not just a competition, but a means to build sportsmanship and professionalism within the Indonesian National Police (Polri). Moving forward, the Lampung Regional Police Brimob Unit is committed to intensifying training programs, both in tactical and sporting fields, to ensure the readiness of personnel in facing various challenges in future official duties.
