General Chair of the National Mandate Party (PAN), Zulkifli Hasan, gave strict instructions to party cadres to always be present and side with the interests of the public. In his guidance, he emphasized that all political work carried out by cadres must be based on devotion to the people, especially farmers and fishermen who are the backbone of the nation's economy.
Zulhas made the statement while inaugurating the regional executive boards (DPW and DPD) of PAN across West Java for the 2024–2029 term in Bandung Regency on Sunday (10/5/2026). He stressed that this support must not only appear near election time, but must be carried out continuously.
Zulhas highlighted West Java's strategic position as a driver of national development. According to him, progress and prosperity achieved in West Java will directly impact national stability. Therefore, he aims for all cadres in West Java to work collectively to bring PAN into the top three national political parties in the upcoming 2029 Election.
On the other hand, West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi expressed appreciation for the election of Ahmad Najib Qodratullah as Chairman of the West Java PAN DPW. Dedi assessed that Najib has a deep understanding of Sundanese cultural values and a spirit aligned with human rights issues, ecological preservation, and local history developing in West Java.
Dedi also linked Zulhas's role as Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs with PAN's major mission to improve the welfare of farmers. For him, the new regional leadership is expected to translate this vision into concrete work programs whose benefits can be directly felt by the people of West Java.
