The 10th Provincial Sports Festival officially reached its peak after a series of fierce competitions in 3x3 basketball and table tennis. The three-day tournament successfully brought together a total of 292 athletes across various categories, featuring 47 basketball games and 125 table tennis matches full of sportsmanship.
In 3x3 basketball, dominance was displayed by the men's team from Hoa An commune, who secured the gold medal, while in the women's division, the championship title was claimed by Thuc Phan ward. Fierce competition was also seen in table tennis, where athletes from Thuc Phan ward performed strongly, sweeping multiple gold medals in both singles and doubles events, as well as securing top spot in the women's team category.
The organization of this tournament holds dual urgency for the local government. In addition to serving as a benchmark for the success of the public physical education movement during the 2022-2026 period, this event acts as a crucial medium for identifying top talent. Selected high-performing athletes will later be prepared to represent the province in the 10th National Sports and Physical Education Congress scheduled for 2026.
This event also serves as a manifestation of the national physical training movement spirit, emphasizing the values of honesty and unity. The local government hopes that through this competition, athletes will not only improve their technical skills professionally, but also build interactions that strengthen inter-regional bonds of brotherhood across all corners of the province.
