PT Aneka Tambang (Antam) Tbk recorded price stability for its gold bar products in Saturday morning trading. Based on data from the official Logam Mulia website as of 08:55 WIB, pure Antam gold is still pegged at Rp2,651,000 per gram.
Unlike the selling price which tended to stay flat, the price for repurchase or buyback transactions actually increased to Rp2,429,000 per gram. This change is a positive signal for gold asset holders planning to resell at this time.
The public should understand that gold bar prices are dynamic and can change at any time according to market fluctuations. In addition, every selling and buying transaction of Antam gold bars is regulated under tax provisions, namely PMK No. 34/PMK.10/2017.
In every purchase transaction, consumers are subject to Income Tax (PPh) Article 22 of 0.45 percent for Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP) holders, and 0.9 percent for non-NPWP holders. Meanwhile, for buyback transactions with a nominal value above Rp10 million, the tax levied is 1.5 percent for NPWP holders and 3 percent for non-NPWP, which is directly deducted from the total transaction value.
