In welcoming the 80th Bhayangkara Day, the Pamarayan Sector Police of Serang Police Department organized a health community service event in the Bandung Sub-sector area on Sunday (July 5, 2026). This event served as a platform for the police force to demonstrate their human side and real dedication to the wider public.

Synergy with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) of Bandung District and Serang Regency provided various medical services for residents. The community showed great enthusiasm participating in health checks, ranging from blood pressure checks, hemoglobin level screenings, to blood typing. Additionally, the blood donation drive became the main attraction, positively received by residents as a form of social care.

Pamarayan Sector Police Chief, Police Assistant Commissioner (AKP) Yusuf Ependi, emphasized that this activity implements the directives of the Indonesian National Police leadership to be present among the public through a social approach. According to him, the police are not only responsible for security and public order, but also carry a moral responsibility to support community health quality.

“We want to emphasize that the National Police is always present and close to the public, not only in maintaining regional security, but also through humanitarian actions that directly impact others,” said AKP Yusuf Ependi on the sidelines of the event.

Also present at the event were representatives from the Bandung District Government, personnel from the Pamarayan Military Command (Koramil), and members of Saka Bhayangkara scouts, who collaborated side-by-side to make the event a success. The active participation of all elements demonstrates a strong spirit of mutual cooperation in maintaining health and harmony in the local environment.

Through the momentum of the 80th Bhayangkara Day, the Pamarayan Sector Police hope to continue strengthening partnership relations with all levels of society. This social action is expected to be a strategic step in raising public awareness about the importance of maintaining health and fostering a spirit of sharing through blood donation.
