Sidoarjo witnessed the warmth of the relationship between the TNI and the community as thousands of residents packed the GOR Delta Sidoarjo on Sunday (2/8/2026) evening. The presence of the enthusiastic crowd marked the peak of the 60th Anniversary celebration of Korem 084/Bhaskara Jaya, presented as a People's Entertainment stage event.
With the theme "Increasingly Steadfast in Service, Present for the Nation, Together with the People Building an Advanced Indonesia", this event did not only serve as a means of public recreation. The people's party was also designed as a bridge of friendship to strengthen the unity and emotional bond between TNI soldiers and the people of East Java, especially in the Sidoarjo region.
Commander of Korem 084/Bhaskara Jaya, Brigadier General TNI Kohir, emphasized that the six-decade journey of the institution he leads is proof of long-term dedication that is inseparable from the active role of the community. According to him, public trust is the main foundation for the TNI in guarding regional sovereignty and stability.
Brigadier General TNI Kohir stated that the strength of Korem 084/Bhaskara Jaya relies on a harmonious synergy with the people. He hopes that the presence of the TNI is not only felt when facing critical situations or conflicts, but also in moments of togetherness that bring happiness to the wider community.
On this occasion, the Danrem also expressed his deep appreciation to the Sidoarjo Regency Government, the Forkopimda ranks, sponsors, MSME owners, and all elements of society who supported the implementation of this event in a conducive, orderly, and safe manner.
A positive response also came from local residents, including Parto (53), who appreciated the Korem's initiative to organize this massive free entertainment event. It is hoped that such activities will continue regularly to strengthen national unity while maintaining the unity of the TNI with the people for a strong NKRI (Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia).
