Diplomat Success Challenge (DSC) has officially entered a new chapter in its 17-year journey. Through the official launch held in Jakarta, the program, previously known as a business competition, has now transformed into 'Founders’ Arena', a more open, inclusive, and collaborative entrepreneurial ecosystem for business players in the country.
Carrying the theme 'Founders of Indonesia', DSC Season 17 provides a total grant funding of IDR 2.5 billion. This strategic step was taken in response to national employment challenges, where Indonesia's entrepreneurship ratio still lags behind neighboring countries like Malaysia and Singapore, even though MSMEs' contribution to the national GDP has reached 60%.
President Director of PT Wismilak Inti Makmur, Ronald Walla, emphasized that this evolution aims to spawn more business leaders capable of creating solutions and job opportunities. Through the principles of 'Paham, Piawai, dan Persona' (Understanding, Skillful, and Persona), Founders’ Arena is designed as a platform for founders to increase visibility, build community networks, and gain equal access to opportunities without background limitations.
Support for this initiative also came from the government through the Indonesian Minister of MSMEs, Maman Abdurrahman, who assessed that cross-sector collaboration is highly necessary to foster a generation of new job creators. Meanwhile, the Chairman of the DSC Board of Commissioners, Surjanto Yasaputera, added that the main focus this year is to find entrepreneurs who not only stand out individually but also possess capable capacity in building team collaboration.
Registration for entrepreneurs wishing to join the Founders’ Arena ecosystem has officially opened and will run until October 9, 2026. All information regarding selection stages and registration can be accessed online via the official website www.foundersarena.id as well as DSC's official social media channels.
