Chinese automotive manufacturer Changan has officially introduced its latest premium electric vehicle line named the Changan Nevo Q06. The electric SUV, which features various cutting-edge technologies, is scheduled to make its official market debut in September 2026, after previously being spotted in local government homologation documents last April.

In terms of aesthetics, the Nevo Q06 applies a modern design concept called "Light-Catching". Its front appearance is designed minimalistically without a conventional air grille, beautified by wide-spanning LED DRL headlights. Meanwhile, at the rear, dot-matrix LED lights provide a futuristic character that reinforces the premium feel of its bulky body.

Stepping into the cabin, a luxurious atmosphere is immediately felt through the combination of off-white and purple colors. The center console is dominated by a large touchscreen that appears to float above the dashboard. Passenger comfort is also a priority thanks to front seats with leg rests that support a zero-gravity position, as well as an extra entertainment screen mounted on the ceiling for rear-row passengers.

Under the hood, this electric SUV relies on the Tianshu chassis with a dual rear-wheel drive (RWD) motor configuration capable of delivering up to 245 kW or equivalent to 329 hp. This performance is supported by a high-level electrical architecture that supports 6C ultra-fast charging technology, making battery charging times much more efficient.

Completing its sophistication, Changan has installed a LiDAR sensor on the roof of the car as part of the Changan Tianshu Pilot Ultra safety system. This advanced sensor allows the semi-autonomous driving system to guide the car safely through dense and complex urban streets from end to end.
