Ambon – The Coordination Board of the Islamic Students Association (Badko HMI) of Maluku organized the National Level Intermediate Training III (LK-III), attended by 34 selected cadres from various branches across Indonesia, including Ambon, Samarinda, and Ternate. This advanced cadre training agenda, held at the Hall of the Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDM) of Maluku Province, serves as a strategic forum for shaping future national leadership.
Attending as the keynote speaker, Deputy Chairman of the Legislation Body (Baleg) of the House of Representatives (DPR RI) and Presidium of the National Council of KAHMI, Dr. H. Ahmad Doli Kurnia Tandjung, presented a material titled "Indonesian Political Economy: A Theoretical Approach to Policy Directions and Challenges Towards the Golden Indonesia 2045 Vision." During his session, Doli outlined the development roadmap leading to a century of Indonesian independence in 2045.
According to Doli, achieving the Golden Indonesia 2045 Vision heavily relies on superior human development, a sustainable economy, and equitable development across all regions of Indonesia. He emphasized that strategic projects such as the development of the Nusantara Capital City (IKN) are concrete evidence of the state's commitment to reducing the development gap between Java and outside Java, particularly in Eastern Indonesia.
In the interactive discussion, Doli also highlighted the importance of Pancasila as the primary foundation for building the nation's civilization. He assessed that the noble values of Pancasila are highly aligned with Islamic principles, which also serve as the basis for HMI's organizational struggle in safeguarding the quality of democracy and social justice in the country.
The presence of the central legislator was warmly welcomed by local leaders. Presidium of the Maluku Regional Council of KAHMI, Abd Azis Hentihu, expressed his appreciation and hoped that this visit would bring a positive impact on Maluku, especially regarding the advocacy for the Islands Region Bill (RUU Daerah Kepulauan) currently progressing in the DPR RI.
Echoing Azis, another Presidium of MW KAHMI Maluku, Dr. Ruslan HS Tawari, expressed hope that Doli would fight for regional development aspirations at the central level, especially in education and resolving regional fiscal issues. Ruslan added that the leadership exemplar shown by Doli could serve as valuable motivation for the HMI cadres participating in the training.
