PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE) has once again recorded a significant achievement in implementing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. Pertamina's Upstream Subholding successfully swept two prestigious awards at the KADIN–GAPPS International Awards 2026 ESG Governance event held at KADIN Tower, Jakarta, on Thursday (25/6/2026).
The two categories won were Best ESG Governance and Best ESG Project Management. In fact, PHE was recorded as the only business entity that successfully won the highest title in the Best ESG Project Management category in the event organized by KADIN Indonesia together with the Global Alliance for Project Performance Standards (GAPPS) and the Institute for Sustainability and Agility (ISA).
The Best ESG Governance award was achieved thanks to the company's consistency in implementing transparent and accountable governance. Meanwhile, the Best ESG Project Management title is proof of PHE's success in implementing community empowerment-based projects that have a positive impact on the environment while supporting the company's business targets.
Corporate Secretary of PT Pertamina Hulu Energi, Hermansyah Y Nasroen, stated that this achievement is a validation of the company's commitment to continue integrating sustainability aspects into every operational line. According to him, this step is part of the company's efforts to maintain national energy security while continuing to provide long-term added value for all stakeholders.
As a concrete manifestation of its business integrity, PHE also continues to tighten supervision over anti-fraud and bribery practices. The company consistently implements the Anti-Bribery Management System (SMAP) which is based on the international ISO 37001:2016 standard as a form of commitment to clean and integrity-driven corporate governance.
