PT Rans Entertainment Indonesia Tbk (RANS) has officially established the allocation of proceeds from its initial public offering (IPO) to strengthen its entertainment business line. The company, owned by celebrity couple Raffi Ahmad and Nagita Slavina, is allocating approximately 37.61% of the total fresh funds, or equivalent to IDR 162 billion, specifically to finance music concert events.
According to the company's prospectus, RANS is setting an ambitious target to host at least 16 concerts, both domestically and internationally, through 2028. This strategic plan includes nine concerts in the second half of 2026, six concerts throughout 2027, and one closing concert in 2028.
Regarding operational technicalities, management aims to finalize artist contracts by July 2026 and venue contracts by August 2026. The company has set the permit processing window within one month prior to the scheduled concert dates. Although regulatory frameworks permit this provided all administrative documentation is complete, industry insiders note that this timeframe is relatively brief compared to international promoter standards, which typically initiate permit processes well in advance to mitigate risks.
In this corporate action, RANS will release up to 2.52 billion new shares, representing 20.02% of its issued and paid-up capital. At an execution price of IDR 135 per share, the company is projected to raise up to IDR 429.25 billion, bringing its market capitalization to IDR 1.7 trillion. The largest portion of the concert budget will be focused on 2027, with 64.61% of the funds allocated for six large-scale concerts.
