Fakfak Regency Regional General Hospital (RSUD) has taken a progressive step in modernizing medical services by launching a digital-based outpatient registration application called Si CeSA (Si Cepat Santun). This innovation is specifically designed to resolve long queues and accelerate patient administrative bureaucracy in the region.
Before this system was implemented, the majority of outpatients at RSUD Fakfak had to face significant waiting times. Based on internal observation data, approximately 73 percent of patients previously spent more than 60 minutes just to complete the registration administration process before receiving medical treatment.
The inauguration of the application, held in the Training Room on the 3rd floor of RSUD Fakfak, was attended directly by the Regent of Fakfak, Samaun Dahlan, and Deputy Regent, Donatus Nimbitkendik. The launch event was also witnessed by the regional leadership coordination forum (Forkopimda), representatives from BPJS Kesehatan, and local medical staff.
The Director of RSUD Fakfak, Farid Fauzan Mahubessy, explained that this improvement is a direct response to public complaints regarding the complexity of the registration process. According to him, the quality of healthcare services is measured not only by the competence of doctors or medical facilities, but also by the patient's comfort experience from the moment they first arrive at the hospital.
Through Si CeSA, RSUD Fakfak has now established a new Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) targeting a maximum administrative completion time of 15 minutes. Patients can now register independently from home via the Si CeSA app or Mobile JKN, and then simply verify a barcode or biometric data upon arrival at the hospital before heading directly to their destination clinic.
This innovation integrates the 'SANTUN' work culture values, which is an acronym for Sigap (Alert), Akurat (Accurate), Nyaman (Comfortable), Terukur (Measurable), Unggul (Superior), and Nyata (Real). This digitalization project, developed as part of the Administrator Leadership Training (PKA) in Makassar, was successfully completed within two months thanks to team collaboration and full support from the local government.
