The City of Cirebon is currently enveloped in a festive celebratory atmosphere. In commemoration of its 599th Anniversary, the XIII Inter-Regional Sports and Arts Week (PORSENITAS) officially commenced matches for the futsal sport branch on Tuesday (23/6/2026).
The competition, which runs for three days until Thursday (25/6/2026), is not merely a stage to test skills on the pitch. More than that, this tournament is designed to strengthen ties of friendship and foster a spirit of togetherness among participating institutions and regions.
The Cirebon City Government stated that this staging of PORSENITAS XIII serves as a special momentum. In addition to popularizing sports, the event is expected to instill high values of sportsmanship among participants amidst the festive series of the historic city's anniversary.
The competing futsal athletes showed high enthusiasm on the pitch. Support from various parties continues to pour in to ensure the successful running of the tournament, which reflects collaboration and dedication in developing the quality of human resources through sports.
