Police officers from the Klungkung Police, in synergy with the Klungkung Sector Police, are conducting tight security for the Klungkung Youth Fest (KYF) VIII held at the Klungkung Puputan Field. In addition to maintaining security at the main venue, officers have also been deployed to manage traffic flow to prevent congestion around the festival area.
Before deploying to the field, all personnel first attended a readiness briefing led directly by the Head of the Klungkung Police Narcotics Unit, AKP I Wayan Gede Mudana. This tactical briefing was conducted as a final check of personnel readiness as well as to assign security posts in the field.
In their operations, police officers are stationed at several crucial points to anticipate potential security disruptions. Security is focused on managing vehicle routes around the location, monitoring parking areas to prevent criminal acts, and providing close security around the main entertainment stage.
Alongside their security duties, officers in the field are also actively interacting with visitors to deliver messages on public order and security (kamtibmas). Citizens are urged to remain vigilant about their personal belongings, follow officers' instructions, and jointly maintain a conducive environment throughout the event.
Head of Public Relations at the Klungkung Police, Iptu I Dewa Nyoman Alit Purnawibawa, emphasized his team's commitment to providing maximum security for every public activity. He also invited the public to cooperate and immediately report to the nearest officer if they encounter anything that could potentially disrupt public order.
