The industrial world's need for digitally skilled labor is becoming increasingly urgent in this modern era. However, the limitations of supporting facilities in schools are often obstacles in preparing vocational students to face the challenges of the real work environment, especially in creative fields such as multimedia design and content production.
Responding to these challenges, PT LG Electronics Indonesia (LG) channeled its social contribution through the "LG Loves School" program. This concrete step was realized by renovating and building modern multimedia classroom facilities at SMKN 2 Tangerang Selatan.
The support provided is not only in the form of physical renovation of the rooms, but also the delivery of learning support infrastructure. LG donated 12 units of advanced 27-inch monitors and three units of energy-saving air conditioners (AC) to create a comfortable and conducive learning ecosystem for students.
President of LG Electronics Indonesia, Ha Sang-chul, revealed that this initiative is part of the company's ongoing commitment to expand technology-based education access in the country. According to him, the utilization of industry-standard devices in vocational schools is crucial in accelerating the improvement of students' competencies.
The main pillar of this new multimedia classroom relies on the LG 27U411A series monitor. This high-specification screen features an IPS Full HD panel with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. This visual advantage ensures smoother and more precise image transitions for video editing, graphic design, and animation creation needs.
In addition to its visual performance advantages, this monitor is also equipped with HDR10 technology and 99 percent sRGB color coverage to ensure color accuracy that is close to the original. Coupled with a virtually borderless screen design and tilt adjustment options, students can work with optimal comfort over long durations.
SMKN 2 Tangerang Selatan was chosen as the beneficiary because this vocational school holds the status of Center of Excellence. Through this synergy, LG hopes that the new facility will be able to produce young talents who are ready to be directly absorbed into the national creative industry.
