To foster cooperation and strengthen the quality of education, students of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at Tridinanti University Palembang conducted an academic visit to Malahayati University Bandar Lampung on Monday (20/7/2026). This activity is part of the Field Work Practice (PKL) to broaden students' understanding of higher education management and curriculum innovation.
During the visit, the students received an in-depth explanation of the academic system based on Outcome-Based Education (OBE). This curriculum approach focuses on improving graduate competency so that they are more adaptive to technological developments and real-world job market needs today.
The Rector of Malahayati University, Dr. dr. Achmad Farich, M.M., emphasized the importance of synergy between higher education institutions to build an adaptive and innovative learning ecosystem. According to him, collaboration is crucial so that universities can produce graduates with superior character who master critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Echoing this sentiment, the Field Advisor from Tridinanti University, Dr. M. Ima Andriyani, S.E., M.Si., stated that this program provides a rare opportunity for students to directly observe the practical implementation of quality assurance and outcome-based curriculum in the field.
In addition to an interactive Q&A session regarding collaboration opportunities and career preparation, the group of students also toured various academic support facilities on campus. This visit is expected to strengthen the bilateral relations between the two universities in advancing the quality of higher education in Indonesia.
