UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung successfully held the 108th Graduation Open Senate Session at the Anwar Musaddad Building on Saturday (11/7/2026). The Rector of UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung, Prof. Dr. H. Rosihon Anwar, M.Ag., directly led the inauguration procession for 1,500 graduates from various educational levels, ranging from bachelor's, master's, to doctoral degrees.
Carrying the grand theme "Transformation of Knowledge for the Ummah: From Campus to Universal Service", this momentum marks the graduates' readiness to implement the knowledge gained during their studies into the life of the wider community. The theme reflects the moral responsibility of academics to make real contributions to the benefit of the community.
The distribution of graduates in this graduation ceremony covers various faculties, including the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training with the largest contribution of 225 graduates, followed by the Faculty of Sharia and Law and the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication, which graduated 180 students each. In addition, there were also graduates from the Faculty of Ushuluddin (129), Faculty of Adab and Humanities (144), Faculty of Science and Technology (135), Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (136), Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business (139), and Faculty of Psychology (64).
Not only from the undergraduate program, this procession also inaugurated 116 Master's degree graduates and 52 Doctoral degree graduates. The university provided a live streaming service through its official channel for family and friends who could not attend the event physically at the venue, in an effort to still celebrate the graduates' success with their loved ones.
