A total of 100 children participated in the "Khitan Ceria" (Joyful Circumcision) program organized by BAZNAS West Java Province on Tuesday, June 30, 2026. Held at the Doctor Seno Circumcision Clinic in Bandung City, this initiative aimed to provide access to safe healthcare services while bringing joy to children from needy families.

This activity is the result of a cross-sector synergy involving BAZNAS West Java, Doctor Seno Circumcision Clinic, the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs in West Java, and Bank BJB. In addition to the medical procedure, each participant received assistance in the form of school supplies, prayer gear, and a monetary allowance as a form of social care funded through the optimization of zakat, infaq, and charity funds.

Head of the People's Welfare Bureau of the West Java Regional Secretariat, Andrie Kustria Wardana, who attended representing the regional government, expressed high appreciation for this collaboration. He stated that the program is a real implementation of the spirit of mutual assistance (gotong royong) between the government, the private sector, and humanitarian organizations in improving the health status of children in West Java.

Head of Collection at BAZNAS West Java, Dr. H. Ijang Faisal, emphasized that this program proves how zakat can be managed productively to provide direct benefits to the community. According to him, the trust of muzakki (zakat donors) is the main driver for BAZNAS to continue delivering inclusive and solution-oriented programs to the public.

Director of Seno Medika Primary Clinic, Hj. Isti Seni Utami, stated her medical team's commitment to ensuring the circumcision process is comfortable and child-friendly. This was positively received by parents, including Eti Nurhayati, who felt assisted by the quality medical facilities provided free of charge through the program.

This event serves as concrete proof that multi-stakeholder collaboration can create a significant social impact. With support from various corporate partners and social foundations, BAZNAS West Java is committed to expanding the reach of beneficial health services for underprivileged families throughout the West Java region.
