The Public Order Agency (Satpol PP) of Bogor City conducted a monitoring operation at a nightlife venue located on Jalan Merdeka, Central Bogor, in the early hours of Wednesday (8/7). This decisive action follows the circulation of video footage of a brawl on social media involving the business premises last weekend.

Head of Bogor City Satpol PP, Pupung Wahyu Purnama, explained that his team conducted a direct field verification to clarify the incident while checking the legal business permits of Teras Nona Manis. According to the management, the viral brawl occurred outside the café area, and the perpetrators were claimed not to be among their patrons.

Although the management argued that the brawl occurred outside the premises, officers still took legal action. Satpol PP has scheduled an official summons for the café's management to investigate the timeline of events more deeply to determine if there were other potential public order violations.

During the inspection, officers uncovered administrative violations related to the sale of alcoholic beverages. A total of 35 bottles of category B and C hard liquor were confiscated as the operator only held a permit to sell category A beverages. Based on these findings, authorities issued a first warning letter to the management.

Pupung emphasized that his agency will not tolerate repeated violations. If subsequent infractions are found following this warning, Satpol PP is committed to imposing harsher sanctions, including temporary operational closure in accordance with standard operating procedures in Bogor City.
