The Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism has officially announced the lineup for the Da Nang Entertainment Festival 2026, which will be held from July 22 to 26. This grand event is designed to boost the tourism sector while showcasing the rich local culture to a wider stage.
Under the theme \"Experience - Enjoy - Discover\", the festival highlights the blend of the unique cultural identity of Quang Nam with the modernity of a world-class tourist destination. The Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Da Nang City, Tan Van Vuong, emphasized that the main focus of this year's event is to build emotional experiences for visitors as the foundation for the sustainability of the city's tourism sector.
The celebration will officially open on July 23 at East Sea Park with an artistic performance reconstructing the traditional life of coastal communities and craft villages. Throughout the event, tourists will be treated to various thematic zones along the beach, from the Traditional Market Food Area to the exotic Night Ocean Light Show.
In addition to cultural offerings, the festival also integrates the sports sector through the National Beach Handball Championship and the Barefoot Beach Run. Active participation is also encouraged through the \"Welcoming the Dawn Fish Market\" program at Man Thai beach, where visitors can interact directly with the daily activities of local fishermen.
To support tourist comfort, local authorities have also launched the \"Digital Journey to Explore Da Nang\" system, making online access to information easier. Through a series of ecotourism tours spanning from the Son Tra Peninsula to the Tak Po mountain region, the city government hopes this festival can strengthen Da Nang's position as a leading event hub in the Asian region.
