The Youth Movement (GP) Ansor of Depok City, through the Pondok Petir Sub-district Branch, successfully held artificial intelligence (Artificial Intelligence/AI) training to equip the community for the digital era. The event, themed "Literate in AI, Ready to Face the Future," was held at the Youth Building of Pondok Pesantren An-Nadhlah, Depok, on Sunday (26/7/2026), and attended by 101 participants from various community elements.
Deputy Speaker of the Depok City DPRD, Yuni Indriany, who attended as the keynote speaker (keynote speaker), highly appreciated the initiative. Yuni emphasized that mastering artificial intelligence technology is no longer an option, but a strategic investment in developing competitive local human resources (HR) on the global stage.
According to Yuni, the rapid penetration of AI has now reached various vital aspects of life, including employment, education, healthcare, and public services. She urged the younger generation in Depok City not to merely be consumers or passive spectators in the midst of this massive wave of digitalization.
Furthermore, Yuni highlighted Depok City's great potential as a national digital talent incubator, thanks to the presence of leading educational institutions and creative communities. She detailed three main principles of AI utilization: as an instrument to boost productivity, used ethically and responsibly, and viewed as a new career opportunity for the future.
Echoing this sentiment, Chairman of the Depok City PC GP Ansor, Muhammad Kahfi, explained that the training aims to produce young innovators capable of applying AI technology for the advancement of the economy, education, organizations, and public services. The success of this event was supported by cross-sector collaboration involving Nahdlatul Ulama, Dompet Dhuafa, Yakesma, Devoteam Google Cloud, and Aarcon.
This intensive training featured trusted experts, including Dr. Ahmad Musyafa (Head of Informatics Engineering Study Program at Pamulang University), Komang Tryana Mertayasa (AI Lead at Devoteam Google Cloud Indonesia), Ikhwan Hikayat (PP LBH GP Ansor), and Febryansyah (Head of Cyber Ansor Depok). Through this synergy, it is hoped that top talents from Depok, such as programmers (programmers) and artificial intelligence researchers, will emerge.
