In commemoration of National Children's Day and to reduce health issues at an early age, PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk is partnering with the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) to organize the "Mandiri Bakti Kesehatan Anak" program. This initiative focuses on providing free preventive health services to support the optimal growth and development of Indonesia's younger generation.

This social program is taking place simultaneously in 10 major cities in Indonesia, spanning from Medan to Jayapura, from July 23 to 31, 2026. With a target of reaching approximately 280 children in each implementation area, this concrete action is expected to detect potential health issues in toddlers at an early stage.

This preventive step is deemed increasingly crucial given that child health challenges in the country remain relatively high. According to the 2023 Indonesian Health Survey (SKI) data, the prevalence of anemia in toddlers aged 0 to 4 years was recorded at 23.8 percent. Therefore, early health screening is a key factor in preventing long-term impacts.

During the event, children receive a series of comprehensive medical examinations, ranging from growth and development screening, dental and eye checkups, to hematology tests. Furthermore, parents are also provided with education on parenting and balanced nutrition fulfillment through special counseling sessions with medical personnel.

Bank Mandiri Corporate Secretary, Adhika Vista, emphasized that investing in children's health is a main pillar in fostering a productive future generation of the nation. This program is also a manifestation of the company's social responsibility, coinciding with the celebration of Bank Mandiri's 28th anniversary.

As a complement to the medical services, Bank Mandiri also distributed nutritional assistance packages containing vitamins, milk, eggs, and mung beans to the participants. Through this integration of medical examinations and nutritional intervention, the company is committed to continuing to deliver inclusive Corporate Social Responsibility (TJSL) programs that have a long-term impact on the wider community.
