The Commander of Korem (Danrem) 084/Bhaskara Jaya, Brigadier General TNI Kohir, conducted a direct inspection of the East Parking area of GOR Delta Sidoarjo on Saturday (1/8/2026). This review was carried out to ensure infrastructure readiness and security aspects ahead of the peak celebration of the 60th Anniversary of Korem 084/Bhaskara Jaya, which is packaged as a folk entertainment festival.
During the inspection, Brig. Gen. TNI Kohir monitored the readiness of various supporting facilities, starting from the layout of the main stage, visitor entry-exit route engineering, parking areas, to the integrated security scheme. This anticipatory step was taken to provide comfort and ensure the safety of thousands of residents expected to crowd the event venue.
Brig. Gen. TNI Kohir emphasized that the commemoration of this 60th anniversary is not just an internal military ceremonial celebration. This folk festival is specially dedicated as a form of appreciation and gratitude from Korem 084/Bhaskara Jaya for the full support of the people of Sidoarjo and its surroundings for the performance of the TNI ranks so far.
Furthermore, he hopes this momentum can strengthen the emotional closeness and unity between TNI soldiers and the people. With an atmosphere full of joy and warmth, this event is expected to bring tangible benefits and strengthen the TNI's partnership with the community in its territorial area.
Accompanying the Commander during the inspection were the Dandim 0816/Sidoarjo along with representatives of the event organizer from Senada Kreasi Indonesia. This cross-sector synergy is expected to make the event, scheduled for Sunday, August 2, 2026, a success, marking six decades of dedication by Korem 084/Bhaskara Jaya.
