The search for MDR (30), a resident of Penanjan Hamlet, Paciran Village, Lamongan Regency, has ended in tragedy. The man, who had been reported missing since mid-July, was finally found dead in the forested area of Mount Kendil, Paciran District.
The victim's body was successfully evacuated by a joint team consisting of Paciran Police officers, volunteers, and the family. The breakthrough in the search began with a report from a local resident who suspected the victim's activity in the hilly area before he was reported missing.
Head of Public Relations of Lamongan Police, Ipda M Hamzaid, confirmed the discovery and explained that the victim's body was immediately taken to the Paciran Health Center (Puskesmas) for an external examination to identify the cause of death.
Based on the medical examination results, police confirmed there were no indications of foul play or physical violence on the victim's body. The family has also accepted the victim's passing and declined an autopsy, so the body was immediately handed over for burial.
