The main focus of this new management is to expand the reach of cultivating sports to remote areas, while preparing thoroughly for the 2027 National Recreational Sports Festival (FORNAS) in Palu.
As a strategic step, KORMI South Kalimantan signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the local Tourism Department and the Department of Education and Culture. This synergy aims to integrate community sports events into the tourism calendar, which is expected to boost the sport tourism sector in Bumi Lambung Mangkurat.
Syarifuddin emphasized that the organization's future success depends heavily on cross-sector support, from local governments, regency/city KORMI, to the active involvement of all Sports Parent Organizations (INORGA). Through cross-agency collaboration, he is optimistic that KORMI South Kalimantan can make a real contribution to the health and happiness of the Banua community.
