The Sidoarjo Branch of the Indonesian Tax Consultants Association (IKPI) has launched its latest communication media innovation, a podcast titled "Taxon Darjo" (Ask IKPI Sidoarjo). The launch of this public education program was held in the tourism area at the foot of Mount Kawi, Malang Regency, East Java, on the sidelines of the 2026 Annual Member Meeting and Gathering.
Appearing as the main speaker in the inaugural episode, IKPI President Vaudy Starworld explained that this first broadcast was intentionally designed to be casual, without discussing complex tax regulations. Hosted by the duo Djuniarto and Iwan, and accompanied by the Vice Chairman of IKPI Sidoarjo Tony Purnomo, this first chat focused more on sharing work experiences and motivation for young tax consultants.
Vaudy highly appreciated the rapid development shown by IKPI Sidoarjo. Since separating from the Surabaya branch and becoming independent in 2019, the organization is considered consistent in organizing various competency improvement programs. Currently, the active membership of the Sidoarjo branch has reached 170 people.
According to Vaudy, the parameters of success for a regional management do not only rely on the age of the organization or the quantity of its members. True success lies in how the management is able to optimize existing local potential. He also encouraged other branches across Indonesia to design innovative programs tailored to the local wisdom of their respective regions.
Going forward, the casual talk show program "Taxon Darjo" will be broadcast regularly through the official YouTube channel of the IKPI Sidoarjo Branch. The presence of this digital platform is expected to bridge the organization's internal communication while serving as an interactive educational tool for the wider public to get to know the tax consultant profession in a light and easy-to-understand way.
