The people of Batu City can now access information about reproductive health and the Family Planning (KB) program more easily and independently. This innovation comes thanks to a collaboration between students of the Thematic Student Community Service (KKN-T) Group 14 from the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Brawijaya (FIA UB), the Department of Women's Empowerment, Child Protection, Population Control, and Family Planning (DP3AP2KB) of Batu City, and the Association of Family Planning Writers. They have launched the Kemendukbangga and Reproductive Health E-Module based on digital Appropriate Technology (TTG).

To ensure this program reaches all levels of society, educational media in the form of brochures and banners equipped with QR codes have been distributed to several strategic locations. These physical materials are now available at the KB Counseling Center in Bumiaji Subdistrict, Junrejo Village, and Batu Subdistrict. By scanning the QR code using a smartphone, residents and field counselors can immediately access and study all educational materials free of charge.

Representative of the Event Division for KKN-T 14 FIA UB, Ellena Elisanora Budiman, emphasized the importance of this digital module in changing the public's paradigm regarding Family Planning. According to her, the family planning program is not just about limiting the number of children, but a planned strategy to create families that are healthy, independent, characterful, and prosperous in the future.

This E-Module contains three main pillars of education. The first pillar focuses on preventing high-risk pregnancy conditions known as the "four too's" (empat terlalu)—namely, too young, too old, too close birth spacing, and too many children. Meanwhile, the second pillar reviews in depth various contraceptive options according to needs, ranging from Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC/MKJP) like IUDs and implants, to non-LARC methods such as injections, pills, and condoms.

In addition to medical education, the third pillar in this module contains a guide to navigating public services. This section details the six stages of service procedures, administrative document requirements such as ID cards (KTP) and health insurance (BPJS), to the mapping of the nearest health facilities in the Batu, Bumiaji, and Junrejo areas. The student team also actively assisted the community through direct socialization at Posyandu (integrated health posts) and village halls to ensure residents understand how to use this digital technology independently.
