Local governments and sports stakeholders across West Java have begun finalizing preparations for the XV West Java Provincial Sports Week (Porprov) through the Chief de Mission (CDM) meeting. This strategic agenda was held at Bogor City Hall on Tuesday (28/7/2026) to align technical coordination and unify perceptions ahead of the largest multi-sport event at the provincial level.

The meeting was attended in person by the Chairperson of the Porprov Jabar XV Grand Committee and Deputy Mayor of Bekasi, Abdul Harris Bobihoe. Also present were the Deputy Mayor of Bogor, Jenal Mutaqin, Chairman of KONI Jabar Prof. M. Budiana, Head of Dispora Jabar Herry Antasari, as well as several provincial and regional legislative representatives along with contingent leaders from all regencies/cities across West Java.

The main focus of this CDM meeting included detailed presentations on venue readiness, competition technical regulation mechanisms, and the flow of logistics coordination between contingents. This synchronization step was intentionally carried out early to anticipate and minimize potential operational obstacles when the sports event officially begins.

The Chairperson of the Porprov Jabar XV Grand Committee, Abdul Harris Bobihoe, emphasized that active collaboration from all elements is the key to the success of this event, both in terms of athletic achievement and committee management. Through strong consolidation, this event is expected to foster new potential athletes who are ready to bring honor to West Java on national and international stages.
