The atmosphere at Merdeka Field Watampone looked different on Sunday (28/6/2026), where thousands of residents crowded the Car Free Day (CFD) area to join the series of 80th Bhayangkara Day celebrations. The event was directly attended by the Regent of Bone, H. Andi Asman Sulaiman, alongside the Bone Police Chief, AKBP Sugeng Setio Budhi.
The enthusiastic event involved members of the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda), ranks of the Bone Regency Government, as well as personnel from the TNI and Polri. Through a joint gymnastics session, this momentum became a tangible symbol of solidarity between government agencies and elements of society in maintaining security stability and order in the Bone region.
In his remarks, the Regent of Bone expressed high appreciation to the Bone Police ranks. He emphasized that this event was not merely a ceremony commemorating the police anniversary, but a strategic platform to strengthen friendship ties while encouraging public awareness of the importance of a healthy lifestyle through regular exercise.
Also present at the occasion was the Commander of Battalion C Brimob Tenri Betta along with a number of regional device heads within the Bone Regency Government. The cross-sectoral collaboration demonstrated in this event is expected to be maintained to support development stability and create a harmonious and conducive community environment in Bone Regency.
