The management of Citarum Stadium in Semarang City has finally taken decisive action regarding supporter complaints about the comfort of the grandstand facilities. Rows of seats previously installed in certain sectors are now being completely dismantled as they are considered lacking adequate legroom for spectators.

The overly cramped condition of the stands has been in the spotlight for making movement difficult for spectators, especially when the stadium reaches full capacity. This dismantling is being carried out as an infrastructure improvement effort so that comfort standards for fans attending matches in person can be better met.

The management assured that this step is part of a periodic evaluation of sports facilities and infrastructure in Semarang City. It is hoped that once the seating area revamp is complete, Citarum Stadium can offer a safer, more comfortable, and welcoming viewing experience for all visitors.
