The Bone Regency Government continues its efforts to improve the quality of medical services for its citizens. This concrete step was realized through a strategic audience meeting with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenkes RI) in Jakarta on Wednesday (22/7/2026) to discuss the acceleration of regional health sector development.

The delegation from Bone was led directly by the Vice Regent of Bone, Dr. H. Andi Akmal Pasluddin, accompanied by the Acting Head of the Health Office and the board of directors of Tenriawaru Regional General Hospital (RSUD) and Datu Pancaitana Regional General Hospital (RSUD). The group was received directly by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Health, Kunta Wibawa Dasa Nugraha, along with other high-ranking ministry officials at the Ministry of Health Building in South Jakarta.

During the meeting, the Bone Regency Government submitted several strategic proposals, ranging from increasing the capacity of regional general hospitals, procuring more modern medical facilities and infrastructure, to budget support to accelerate the fulfillment of advanced health facilities. Accessibility and equity of health services were the main focus of this audience.

Vice Regent Andi Akmal Pasluddin emphasized that collaboration with the central government is the key to accelerating the improvement of the health sector in Bone. Responding to the proposals, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Health, Kunta Wibawa, welcomed them positively and emphasized the importance of policy synchronization between the central and regional governments to strengthen the resilience of the local community health system.
