NORTH LAMPUNG - Residents of Baru Raharja Village, North Sungkai District, North Lampung Regency enthusiastically welcomed the health team from the 129th TNI Manunggal Membangun Desa (TMMD) Task Force of Kodim 0412/LU. The presence of the TNI medical team in the residential area is a blessing for the community who need quick and easily accessible healthcare services.
During the activity held on Monday (8/3/2026), the health team led by Chief Sergeant (Serma) Heriyadi from Denkesyah 02.04.03 Lampung provided various medical services. These ranged from blood pressure checks and minor medical treatments to counseling on the importance of implementing a clean and healthy lifestyle (PHBS) in daily life.
This proactive outreach service was well utilized by the local community. Dozens of residents queued orderly to consult about their health complaints. In addition to receiving free medication, the community was also educated on the prevention of infectious diseases and cleanliness around their homes.
Serma Heriyadi explained that this program is one of the non-physical targets of TMMD, focusing on improving the community's quality of life. This activity also serves as a concrete manifestation of the TNI's concern for the welfare of residents in remote areas who often face limited access to medical facilities.
Through this social service activity, the TMMD Task Force not only focuses on physical infrastructure development but also builds emotional closeness and unity between the TNI and the people. Residents hope that similar programs can continue to be implemented sustainably to support their families' health.
