Weplay Universe officially opened its first K-Entertainment Space facility at Central Park Mall 2, West Jakarta, on Thursday (9/7/2026). Its presence is projected as an integrated space combining elements of entertainment, cutting-edge technology, music, and a creative hub for communities.
One of the featured highlights is DanSnap, a dance recording machine technology from South Korea making its debut in Indonesia. This facility allows visitors to record their dance performances with professional studio quality, complete with integrated digital lighting and camera systems. Users can even directly access the recorded results for social media content needs.
In addition to the dance recording facilities, Weplay Universe offers a modern karaoke concept called Norebang X-press. With a constantly updated song collection and aesthetically designed rooms, this facility is designed to accommodate various groups, from communities to individuals looking to enjoy some personal time. The management emphasized that this place is not just a play area, but an ecosystem to build connections among K-culture fans in Indonesia.
Commercial & Operational Director of PT Korea Global Entertainment, Lailatul Zubaidah, stated that the presence of Weplay Universe was driven by the massive enthusiasm of the Indonesian public for Korean culture. In the future, the management plans to hold regular events such as dance competitions, community gatherings, and collaborations with content creators as part of efforts to strengthen the local creative community.
To celebrate the grand opening, Weplay Universe is offering various promotional programs running until July 31, 2026.
