BAJUBANG – To cultivate a healthy, resilient, and competitive younger generation, MTsN 4 Batang Hari has taken a strategic step by intensifying its extracurricular sports specialization program. This initiative serves as a platform for the directed and continuous development of students' non-academic talents from an early age.

Under this program, students are given the freedom to choose from various popular sports, such as futsal, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, chess, and gymnastics. This variety of options aims to provide ample space for students to discover and hone their potential according to their respective interests and talents.

Not only focusing on physical improvement and competitive skills, the training process is also closely supervised by extracurricular instructors. Through a comprehensive approach, the madrasah aims to instill fundamental character-building values, including sportsmanship, discipline, teamwork, and a sense of responsibility.

The Principal of MTsN 4 Batang Hari emphasized that strengthening the sports sector is an important investment in creating a balance between academic achievement and student character development. With full support from the entire academic community, this program is expected to produce potential young athletes who can bring honor to the school at local and national levels.
