The Village Government of Gunung Sari, Mauk District, Tangerang Regency, has completed the construction of a 400-meter farm road (JUT) infrastructure. This step was taken as a concrete effort by the village government to support the strengthening of the agrarian sector while improving the welfare of local farming communities.
The Head of Gunung Sari Village, Kalabi, stated that this construction is a direct response to residents' aspirations. The strategic project is located in Kampung Rawa Kalem, RT 016 RW 004, and was carried out through a self-management mechanism to ensure participation and transparency for local residents.
Funding for the project, worth IDR 86,860,000, comes from Revenue Sharing (PBH) of the 2026 Village Budget (APBDes). The work was carried out in stages over two fiscal years, starting from roadbed preparation and retaining wall construction, to the final phase of road hardening to ensure high infrastructure quality.
Prior to this road, farmers in the area had to carry their harvests across paddy dikes, which were often muddy and made transportation difficult. Now, crop distribution mobility is much more efficient as it can be accessed by two-wheeled and three-wheeled transport vehicles.
The Gunung Sari Village Government also expressed appreciation to the Tangerang Regency Government and Mauk District officials for their full support in realizing this infrastructure. It is hoped that the existence of adequate road access will reduce post-harvest operational costs and drive sustainable increases in food productivity across Mauk District.
