The Tangan Di Atas (TDA) Sangatta community officially launched the Business Mentoring Group (KMB) Lite program at the Tempudau Room, East Kutai Regent's Office, on Saturday (4/7/2026). This activity is designed as an acceleration platform for business actors, young entrepreneurs, and students to hone an adaptive and professional business mindset.

The Chairman of TDA Sangatta, Muhammad Ali, explained that many business actors get trapped in instant business models without understanding the right scientific foundations. Through the KMB program, TDA offers a tiered curriculum from basic to corporate levels to ensure local MSMEs can compete healthily amidst constantly changing market dynamics.

Echoing this sentiment, the Chairman of TDA Kalimantan Region, Abdul Hakim, emphasized the importance of a collaborative ecosystem. Supported by over 600 members in Sangatta, this mentoring program will run intensively for three months, during which each group of five business owners will be guided by an experienced mentor to address their specific business challenges personally.

The Regent of East Kutai, Ardiansyah Sulaiman, who attended to open the event, appreciated TDA's initiative in strengthening the regional creative economy sector. In his remarks, Ardiansyah emphasized that success in business is not just about capital, but rather perseverance, accurate data management, and sensitivity to surrounding opportunities, including East Kutai's great potential in the tourism and food sectors.

Concluding his remarks, Ardiansyah encouraged participants to continue fostering a spirit of sharing in business. He believes that the 'Tangan Di Atas' (Giving Hands) philosophy is the key to blessings as well as a sustainable growth strategy for MSMEs in the region.
