TABANAN – To ensure all police ranks remain in prime physical condition to serve the public, the Tabanan Resort Police (Polres) organized a joint sports activity integrated with the GESIT Program (Healthy Movement for Productivity). The activity, which took place at the Tathya Dharaka Parade Ground of Tabanan Police on Friday (31/7/2026) morning, was led directly by the Deputy Chief of Tabanan Police, Police Commissioner I Ketut Tomiyasa.

Before starting the physical activities, all personnel were required to undergo periodic health check-ups. The examination included blood pressure measurement, body weight measurement, and waist circumference monitoring as an early detection measure for potential health problems among members. During the morning assembly held afterward, the Deputy Chief reminded them of the importance of maintaining a balance between physical and mental health, while also instructing the preparation of supporting data ahead of the Performance Audit by the Inspectorate General of the National Police Headquarters (Itwasum Mabes Polri).

After the warm-up session, personnel continued their physical activity by walking and light jogging around the command headquarters of the Tabanan Police. This outdoor sports activity was designed not only to maintain physical fitness but also to foster a sense of togetherness, solidarity, and work discipline among members.

Representing the Chief of Tabanan Police, Police Grand Commissioner Adjutant I Putu Bayu Pati, the Head of Human Resources of Tabanan Police, Police Commissioner Ni Made Lestari, explained that the series of activities concluded with independent stretching and a collaborative effort to clean the office environment. This cleanup action is a concrete form of support for the ASRI Program (Safe, Healthy, Clean, and Beautiful) to create a comfortable and conducive public service space.
