During a series of tests on the Monster Track course, the DENZA B5 proved its capabilities through Dual-Mode Off-road (DMO) technology. This system proved to be highly reliable when tackling steep 40-degree inclines. Without needing significant initial momentum, the Crawl Mode feature allows the vehicle to crawl with precise power distribution, ensuring traction is maintained without any sign of wheel slip.
Passenger comfort remains a top priority thanks to the integration of the DiSus-P Intelligent Hydraulic Body Control system. This suspension technology adaptively adjusts damping, even when the vehicle has to traverse physical obstacles such as tiered iron stairs. The flexible ground clearance, which can be adjusted up to 310 mm, gives this SUV a competitive edge when tackling heavy off-road trails as well as daily urban driving.
In terms of design, the DENZA B5 blends a sturdy, boxy silhouette typical of overland vehicles with futuristic touches. Featuring an approach angle of 35 degrees and a departure angle of 32 degrees, this SUV is engineered to accommodate dynamic mobility needs. Although the right-hand drive unit displayed is still in an introductory phase, its presence in the Indonesian market has the potential to reshape the competitive landscape of the premium electrified SUV segment in the future.
