PT Winner Nusantara Jaya Tbk (WINR) has taken a strategic step in transforming its business model by acquiring a 60 percent stake in PT Laxo Global Akses. The internet service provider (ISP) officially became part of WINR's portfolio after the agreement was signed on July 3, 2026. This move marks an important milestone for the property developer in securing a source of recurring income outside its core business line.
President Director of WINR, Liu Yut Men, explained that majority ownership of Laxo Global Akses aims to create closer synergy between the property sector and the digital ecosystem. This integration enables the company to offer bundled 'smart connectivity' packages in every property project they develop, an added value expected to boost the company's competitiveness in the national property market.
This diversification strategy is considered crucial for maintaining the company's financial stability amid property market fluctuations. By relying on recurring revenue from internet services, WINR hopes to minimize reliance on conventional unit sales models. Moreover, Laxo Global Akses boasts an extensive operational track record covering 30 major cities and serving over 100 corporate clients, government agencies, and 10,000 retail customers.
This corporate action comes alongside a positive growth trend in WINR's financial performance throughout 2025. The company recorded revenue of IDR 51.28 billion, reflecting a sharp 62.79 percent surge compared to the previous year's achievement of IDR 31.50 billion. With this new synergy, management is optimistic that revenue contribution from the technology sector will further strengthen the company's fundamentals moving forward.
