Responding to the high demand for public mobility during the 2026 school holiday period, bus operator (PO) Gunung Harta has officially launched a new travel route connecting Sukabumi, West Java with Denpasar, Bali. This step was taken to provide a wider land transportation alternative for inter-island travelers.
This fleet is scheduled to travel a route passing through Bogor, Jakarta, to Situbondo before crossing over to Bali. The maiden service for this route started on July 7, 2026, targeting tourists and locals wishing to make cross-provincial journeys in high-end comfort.
For this route, the management operates Executive-class buses with a capacity of 30 passengers supported by a 2-2 seat configuration. Service users can pay IDR 600,000 for a one-way trip, which includes supporting facilities such as AC, a toilet, a television entertainment center, and a smoking room. Additionally, each seat is equipped with a USB port, pillow, blanket, as well as complimentary food and snacks.
From a technical standpoint, the fleet used in this service relies on capable chassis from Mercedes-Benz 1626, Hino RK8, or Hino RM, which are known to be reliable for long-distance travel. For information, PO Gunung Harta, which is headquartered in Denpasar, is a separate entity from PO Gunung Harta Transport Solution, characterized by their red-colored fleet which has now become their primary identity.
