Bayuangga Stadium, Probolinggo City, was packed with thousands of visitors on Monday (6/7/2026) for the SEMIPRO 2026 event series. Now entering its fourth day, the event successfully drew strong public interest, making it a primary family destination during the school holiday period and a strategic platform to promote regional potential.
Far from being just entertainment, SEMIPRO 2026 serves as a catalyst for microeconomic growth. Hundreds of booths offering local culinary specialties were the main attraction, where the public actively participated in supporting the sustainability of small and medium enterprises in the region.
Beyond the economic sector, the event was also utilized by various regional government agencies to connect with the public by offering public service booths. This reinforces SEMIPRO's position as a multifunctional interaction space between the government and citizens, facilitating access to information and administrative services.
The excitement reached its peak during the "Batik Nusantara All Generation" fashion show, a collaboration between the Probolinggo City Museum Ambassadors and Adi Management. The blend of traditional batik motifs in modern styling featuring participants across generations captivated the audience, followed by a line dance session that fostered a sense of community warmth.
The Head of the Probolinggo City Family Welfare Movement (TP PKK), Evariani, expressed high appreciation for the success of the event. According to her, SEMIPRO 2026 fulfilled its role as a family recreation hub as well as a vital economic driver for local business owners in Probolinggo City.
