PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk successfully recorded an impressive performance throughout the first half of 2026. The state-owned telecommunications enterprise (BUMN) posted a consolidated revenue of IDR 75.9 trillion, growing positively by approximately 3.9 percent compared to the same period last year.
Along with the revenue increase, the company's earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) also rose by 3.8 percent to IDR 37.5 trillion, with the EBITDA margin remaining stable at 49.4 percent. Meanwhile, the net profit of the issuer traded under the stock code TLKM was recorded at IDR 10.6 trillion. If non-operational dynamics are excluded, the normalized net profit actually grew by 6.2 percent to reach IDR 11.3 trillion, supported by operating cash flow which rose by 7 percent to IDR 34.9 trillion thanks to a strict efficiency program.
Telkom's President Director, Dian Siswarini, explained that this achievement proves that the company's long-term TLKM 30 transformation strategy is starting to yield tangible results. This accelerated digital transformation step is considered to strengthen Telkom's strategic position as the backbone and leader of the digital ecosystem in the country.
The main pillar supporting this financial performance came from the B2C segment managed by Telkomsel. This segment contributed revenue of IDR 55.6 trillion, up 3.3 percent year-on-year. The primary driver was the digital business and data services, which surged by 11 percent. Package price optimization and product portfolio management also successfully boosted the mobile average revenue per user (ARPU) by 9 percent to IDR 45,600, which was also triggered by high data consumption during school holidays and the World Cup.
In the fixed broadband sector, Telkomsel focused on a quality growth strategy. Although the number of IndiHome subscribers decreased to 9.5 million from the previous 10.1 million, IndiHome's ARPU actually rose to IDR 211,000 in the second quarter of 2026. The Fixed-Mobile Convergence (FMC) ratio also increased to 65 percent. Going forward, the issuer will integrate artificial intelligence (AI) technology and 5G networks to enrich the variety of digital solutions for both retail and corporate customers.
Significant growth was also seen in the B2B infrastructure segment, which jumped 19 percent to IDR 33.1 trillion, supported by high demand for data, internet, and IT services. On the other hand, its subsidiary, Mitratel, recorded revenue of IDR 4.7 trillion, with the number of tower tenants growing to 63,866. In the data center business line, Telkom continues to consolidate NeutraDC to maximize asset monetization and secure global strategic partnerships.
For international expansion, Telkom booked revenue of IDR 5.7 trillion by shifting its focus to providing high-capacity submarine cables to respond to the high global adoption of AI. To streamline operations, Telkom also completed an early retirement program (ERP) and simplified 10 of its business entities through mergers and liquidations. During the first half of this year, the company's capital expenditure was recorded at IDR 10.8 trillion, with the majority allocated to priority business sectors.
