Apple is reportedly preparing a significant overhaul of its next-generation iPhone Air lineup. According to the latest leaks from prominent tech insider Digital Chat Station, the Cupertino-based tech giant plans to deliver substantial upgrades to both the camera system and battery life on the iPhone Air 2, which is scheduled to launch next year.
In a post on the social media platform Weibo—information also backed by a report from 9to5Mac—it is stated that Apple will abandon the single-camera setup previously considered a weak point of the first-generation model. In its place, the iPhone Air 2 is expected to feature a dual-camera setup, including a 48 MP main camera alongside an additional ultra-wide lens.
In addition to photography updates, power efficiency is also a key focus of development. Apple is rumored to have increased the battery capacity to support more intensive device performance, addressing user criticism regarding the battery life of its predecessor.
Although the company has not yet provided official confirmation, Digital Chat Station's track record of high accuracy in leaking Apple's internal plans lends strong credibility to this speculation.
