Police officers from the North Kuta Police Station, through the Samapta Small Integrated Unit (UKL), conducted intensive patrols along the Batu Bolong Beach tourist area in Canggu Village, Badung. The activity, which took place in the early hours of Thursday (7/2/2026), focused on monitoring the security situation as visitors began leaving various nightlife venues.
Led by Supervising Officer Inspector I Komang Juliarto, this preventive step was taken as part of the police force's commitment to curbing crime rates and ensuring the comfort of tourists. In addition to securing the area, officers on the ground also managed traffic flow to prevent congestion and traffic accidents on Canggu's main roads.
Head of North Kuta Police, Commissioner I Ketut Sukadana, emphasized that the routine patrols conducted until dawn are part of a preventive strategy to maintain a conducive environment in this popular tourist destination. His team closely monitored areas around bars, restaurants, and other crowded spots.
On that occasion, the police also directly urged visitors to remain vigilant regarding their personal belongings. This was done to minimize the risk of crime targeting unsuspecting tourists. Commissioner Sukadana hopes that the presence of personnel in the field can provide maximum security for the public and tourists engaging in activities in North Kuta.
