The Mahakam Ulu (Mahulu) Regency Government successfully achieved a brilliant milestone by winning the 1st Place award in the Best Booth Category at the 12th Provincial Level Appropriate Technology (TTG) Event of East Kalimantan (Kaltim) in 2026. This prestigious award was officially announced during the closing night of the event, which was centered at the Sendawar Cultural Park (TBS), West Kutai Regency, on Thursday (23/7/2026).
The Vice Regent of Mahakam Ulu, Suhuk, attended in person to receive the award on behalf of the Regent of Mahulu, Angela Idang Belawan. The closing of this annual event, which was participated in by nine regencies and cities across East Kalimantan, was led directly by the Vice Governor of East Kalimantan, Seno Aji, and attended by members of the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda), regional heads, and innovators from various regions.
Mahulu's success in taking the top spot in the best booth category is proof of the region's dedication to packaging information. The Mahulu booth was deemed the most outstanding in presenting regional potential, applied technology innovations, and creative flagship products from the local community through a visual concept that was educational, interactive, and easy for visitors to understand.
The Mahulu Regency Government emphasized that this achievement is not merely an exhibition ceremony, but a catalyst to continue generating innovations relevant to the real needs of the community. Through the implementation of applicable appropriate technology, the Mahulu Regency Government is committed to strengthening the local economy and accelerating sustainable regional development.
The 12th East Kalimantan TTG Event also serves as a strategic collaborative space for the government, businesses, and the public to exchange ideas on applied technologies ready for implementation to boost community welfare in East Kalimantan.
