The Indonesian Mosque Youth Communication Body (BKPRMI) of Bontonompo District successfully held a community service event targeting the broader public. This concrete action was realized through the provision of free health services and a mass circumcision program for children in the region.
The event, which carried the spirit of social care, aimed to ease the economic burden on residents, particularly in accessing basic medical facilities. In its implementation, the committee used modern circumcision methods considered safer and offering faster recovery times for the mass circumcision participants.
This program serves as tangible proof of youth organizations' active role in supporting community welfare at the local level. Resident enthusiasm was quite high from the start of registration through to the execution at the event site, reflecting the community's great need for easily accessible and free healthcare services.
BKPRMI Bontonompo hopes this initiative can continue in the future as a form of sustainable contribution to the residents of Bontonompo. Beyond providing physical health benefits, this activity also strengthens ties of fellowship between the organization and the community in the Gowa region.
