JPMorgan Chase & Co. Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Jamie Dimon has expressed concerns regarding the potential threats from the latest artificial intelligence (AI) model, named Mythos, developed by Anthropic PBC. Dimon emphasized that the risks posed by this technology represent a real threat that is currently receiving serious attention from the United States government.

These concerns arose after Anthropic stated that the Mythos AI model possesses highly advanced capabilities in detecting software security flaws or vulnerabilities. Due to its capabilities being deemed too risky if misused, the company decided not to release the technology to the general public.

Dimon delivered this warning while speaking at the Pennsylvania Defense and Innovation Summit, initiated by Senator Dave McCormick. According to him, the rapid development of AI technology in recent months has urged global industry players and government authorities to immediately re-evaluate the potential cyber dangers that may arise.
