Students of the Applied Bachelor Degree in Digital Business Study Program at Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic (Polman Babel) demonstrated their creativity during a two-day product exhibition and live selling event held on July 9–10, 2026. This event served as the highlight of academic activities to close the Even Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year.
The event was a concrete implementation of Project-Based Learning methods. Students not only exhibited innovative downstream product results, but also practiced direct marketing strategies via the TikTok platform to reach a broader market in the digital realm.
This initiative resulted from cross-course collaboration designed to provide practical experience to students. The exhibition integrated content from the Marketing Business Communication course taught by Lamia Eva Rini, MBA, as well as the E-Commerce and Business Digital Project courses guided by Septiana Sihombing, M.Si.
Through direct involvement in market simulations, students are expected to sharpen their business instincts and understand real challenges in the digital commerce ecosystem. This step also equips the younger generation with practical competencies relevant to current industry needs.
