The Java Coffee & Flavors Fest (JCFF) 2026, held at the Surabaya City Square, successfully recorded brilliant transaction achievements. During the three-day event, the annual festival initiated by the Representative Office of Bank Indonesia for East Java Province managed to record total business commitments reaching Rp87 billion.

The Head of the Representative Office of Bank Indonesia East Java, Ibrahim, detailed that this fantastic value consists of 31 financing agreements worth Rp20 billion and 54 preliminary trade agreements (letters of intent) reaching Rp67 billion. Not only that, direct retail transactions by micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) at the exhibition site were also highly productive, with total sales reaching Rp1 billion.

According to Ibrahim, JCFF has now transformed into a strategic cross-sector collaboration platform to bring business players together with banking, academia, and the government. Initiated in 2022, the festival initially focused only on coffee. However, in response to market demands, its scope has now expanded to other leading commodities such as tea, chocolate, bee products, and spices.

Carrying the theme "From Local to Global", this agenda is aimed at pushing local products to have high competitiveness and the ability to penetrate international markets. The success of this year's event is claimed to be the fruit of strong synergy between Bank Indonesia, the provincial government, city governments, banks, and community groups in East Java.
