Battle royale and anime fans are in for a major surprise. PUBG Mobile has officially announced a cross-platform collaboration with the legendary series Naruto Shippuden. Through the version 4.5 update set to launch on July 9, 2026, players can experience the thrill of becoming a ninja on the battlefield.

In this update, players will be treated to features directly inspired by the world of Naruto. Users won't just be playing; they will be able to utilize iconic abilities such as Rasengan, Chidori, Shadow Clone Jutsu, and even Flying Raijin Jutsu during battle. The addition of these techniques is expected to bring a fresh and challenging dynamic to the gameplay.

Beyond combat abilities, the game map will also feature various iconic locations from the series. Players can visit the Hidden Leaf Village (Konoha Village), climb Hokage Rock, and explore The Final Valley. The developer, Tencent, also teased that additional themed areas will open up closer to the official launch.

One of the most anticipated elements is the appearance of Kurama, the Nine-Tails, as a special boss in a dedicated game mode. Additionally, this collaboration includes a collection of cosmetic items and character sets, featuring Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, Sakura Haruno, as well as veteran figures like Jiraiya and Tsunade.

Vincent Wang, Head of PUBG Mobile Publishing at Tencent Games, described this project as one of their most ambitious collaborations to date. Given Naruto's global influence spanning over two decades, this initiative is designed to deliver a nostalgic experience for fans while bringing fresh excitement to the global PUBG Mobile community.
